How it works

Open it, play, close it.

Nothing to schedule, no course to follow. The app picks the session, you play it, and it is over in about ten minutes.

STEP 01

Five games on day one

A short baseline sets your starting level in each of the five tracks. It takes about eight minutes and you only do it once.

STEP 02

A set picked for you

From then on the app hands you three to five games a day, weighted towards the tracks where you are scoring lowest.

STEP 03

The score stays

Every round is written down. You can see the level you reached, the day you reached it, and where you stopped improving.

The games

42 games across five kinds of remembering.

Each one asks for a different kind of memory. Six of them, to give you the idea:

Grid Recall Squares light up in a sequence. Tap them back in the same order as the grid keeps growing. Space & place
Digit Span Hold a growing string of numbers in your head, then type it back — forwards or in reverse. Hold & use
Name Match Meet a set of faces with names, then match them again once the order has been shuffled. Faces & names
Word List Read a list once, wait through a short distraction, then pick out which words were on it. Words & lists
Path Trace Watch a route drawn across a small map, then redraw it from memory once it disappears. Space & place
Sound Order Tones play in a pattern. Reproduce it, then keep going as the pattern gets longer. Order & timing

Plus 36 more — Card Pairs, Shopping List, Face Recall, Number Grid, Route Memory, Symbol Span, Story Detail and others, with new games added over time and included in your licence.

Space & place

Where things were, and how to get back there.

Hold & use

Keeping something in mind while you work with it.

Words & lists

What was said, what was written, what was on the list.

Faces & names

The name that goes with the face in front of you.

Order & timing

What came first, what came next, and how it ended.

Progress

A score you can actually check.

No badges and no confetti. Every game writes down what you scored and at what difficulty, so the history is there whenever you want to look at it.

Questions

Before you leave your email.

How do I get it after I leave my email?

You leave your email address in the form on this page. Our team replies with the access link, the price in your currency and the ways you can pay. Nothing is charged on this website, and nothing is charged until you decide to go ahead.

Is it really a single payment?

Yes. $90 once, for a lifetime licence on one account. There is no monthly plan, no renewal and no paid tier above it. Games added later are included.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and any modern browser on a laptop or desktop. One account covers all of them and your history follows you.

Do I need to be online to play?

No. A session runs offline once the app is installed. Scores are stored on the device and sync the next time you have a connection.

How long does a session take?

About ten minutes. The first day takes a little longer, around eight minutes of baseline plus the first set, because the app needs a starting level for each track.

Is this a medical or therapeutic product?

No. Locus is a set of games for entertainment and general interest. It is not a medical device and makes no health claim. If you have concerns about your memory, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

What if it is not for me?

Write to us within 30 days of your purchase and we refund it in full, without asking for a reason. The details are in our refund policy.
